Software Developers at Bechtel implement and deploy applications in a service oriented environment using standard build procedures. They maintain standard build environments and manage corporate databases to support Bechtel’s business needs.
The total number of Software Developers hires and start dates are subject to workload and business conditions. Locations typically include Frederick, MD, Houston, TX and Reston, VA, among others.

General Job Duties
Software Developers are generally responsible for:

- Maintaining standard build platforms

- Building applications following corporate standards and developer instructions
- Assembling release package and tests installation against standard configurations
- Working with developers to create and maintain a standard automated build process
- Reviewing packages for compliance
- Maintaining corporate application source code repository
- Maintaining metrics related to work process for analysis


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information from an accredited college or University

- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship

- Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information from an accredited college or University

- Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA

- Prior co-op or internship experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
